Swati Apte is the multi-talented livewire who is an equal expert in all her pursuits. A business strategy specialist with a passion for the arts, her background includes a Masters in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from Oxford University, an MBA from Harvard Business School, and a former position as a McKinsey and Co. business consultant. This is juxtaposed by her years of training as a professional Odissi dancer and her active work in the NGO sector.
Swati is also the co-founder of India School-House Fund and senior adviser to Educate Girls and World Monuments Fund. She is part of the Core Team as well as Faculty of SMART (Strategic Management in Art of Theatre), India’s first and only capacity building programme for theatre groups.
At TAQ, along with co-founder Dr. Sangeetha Rajan, Swati harnesses arts practices to strengthen communication, visioning and presence in the leadership of the companies/NGOs they work with. Swati is certified to use Hogan Assessments and has completed the Team Up Triad coaching programme run by the Asian Leadership Institute.
